Spotted this billboard on Spring Street in Soho.  Bordeaux is going for the win!

It should be mentioned, that though it may not be known for it, Bordeaux has some really killer Sauvignon Blancs that are giving the stuff from Sancerre a run for its money.

I was happy to see local wineries Brooklyn Oenology (BOE) and Sparkling Pointe representing full at CEDLNYC!

Sparkling Pointe’s Blanc de Blancs was crisp and stellar in every way!

Thanksgiving office lunches are the best. Especially if you’re washing down your thanksgiving feast with a Peter Lehmann Clancy 2003 Vintage.  The Shiraz (42%), Cabernet Sauvignon (42%) and Merlot (17%) blend goes down well with a roasted turkey centerpiece, stuffing, greens and cranberry sauce.

And a Jacob’s Creek Shiraz vintage 2003 isn’t bad for a follow glass.
